Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Inventive Hill (“Inventive Hill,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) concerning VibeDeck, including its plugin files, local helpers, setup pages, documentation, and updates (collectively, “VibeDeck”). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using VibeDeck, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use VibeDeck.
If you use VibeDeck for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
Purchase and checkout
VibeDeck is sold directly from getvibedeck.com. Checkout, subscription billing, tax collection, and payment-method handling are provided by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record, through its hosted checkout. Lemon Squeezy's applicable terms and policies govern the checkout process itself. These Terms apply to your license and use of VibeDeck and supplement, rather than replace, mandatory Lemon Squeezy or consumer terms.
Refund requests are handled as described in our Refund Policy. You may also contact Inventive Hill about a legal or product remedy. Nothing in these Terms removes any refund, withdrawal, conformity, or other remedy required by applicable law.
License
Subject to these Terms and a subscription in good standing, Inventive Hill grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable license to install, activate, and use VibeDeck for personal use or internal business use on up to two devices at a time under your license key. This license lasts for as long as your subscription remains active (including its free trial), not perpetually; see Section 13 for what happens when a subscription lapses.
You may not resell, redistribute, rent, sublicense, publish, or represent VibeDeck or its assets as your own product. You may not remove proprietary notices or use VibeDeck to create a competing redistributed product. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit rights that cannot legally be restricted.
VibeDeck and its original code, interface, key designs, documentation, and brand assets remain the property of Inventive Hill or its licensors.
Compatibility and third-party services
VibeDeck is designed to work with Stream Deck, supported coding agents, terminals, and operating-system features. It is built deepest for Claude Code and Codex; functionality for Cursor, Copilot CLI, Antigravity, and OpenCode varies according to the events and controls each integration exposes.
Features may depend on installed versions, terminal identity, accessibility or microphone permission, network access, account status, third-party subscriptions, API availability, and hardware. Third parties may modify, restrict, or discontinue interfaces that VibeDeck relies on. Inventive Hill does not control those services and cannot guarantee that every integration or feature will remain continuously available.
VibeDeck uses vendor-exposed hooks, status information, command-line interfaces, and user-authorized operating-system automation where available. You remain responsible for complying with the terms, licenses, and policies of every third-party product you use.
VibeDeck is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or certified by Elgato or any supported agent vendor. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatibility.
Your responsibility
VibeDeck is a control and status interface. It does not create, verify, or control coding-agent output. You are responsible for reviewing all commands, code, approval decisions, questions, configuration changes, dictated text, translations, and agent output before accepting, submitting, executing, deploying, or relying on them.
You are responsible for maintaining source control, backups, access controls, least-privilege permissions, secret management, testing, and any review procedures appropriate to your project. Do not use VibeDeck to perform unlawful activity, bypass access controls, violate another party's rights, or operate systems where an incorrect command could cause personal injury or other safety-critical harm.
Dictation, translation, and API services
Dictation is optional and disabled by default. When enabled, VibeDeck records audio only while you hold the configured session key. The recording is sent to the transcription or translation endpoint you select. VibeDeck normally deletes the temporary local audio file after each completed attempt; an unexpected crash or forced shutdown may leave a temporary file in the operating system's temporary directory.
You are responsible for choosing the endpoint, securing its API key, understanding the provider's privacy terms, and paying any provider charges. Inventive Hill does not receive your audio, transcript, translation, or API key through an Inventive Hill server.
Speech recognition and translation may be incomplete or inaccurate. Dictated text is inserted into the selected terminal for review and is not submitted or executed until you accept it. Always inspect the terminal input before running it. Do not dictate passwords, access tokens, private keys, payment data, regulated information, or other secrets.
Configuration changes and permissions
VibeDeck modifies supported agent configuration only after you select integrations, review the planned changes, and confirm. The installer is designed to preserve unrelated entries, create local backups, validate writes, and roll back failed operations. These safeguards do not replace your own backups or review.
You decide whether to grant microphone, accessibility, terminal-control, or other operating-system permissions. Disabling a permission may disable the related feature without affecting unrelated VibeDeck functionality.
Privacy and local data
VibeDeck has no Inventive Hill account, advertising, analytics, or telemetry service. It processes session and terminal information locally to render status and operate configured controls. Local settings may include agent configuration, terminal identity, sounds, dictation preferences, and user-provided API credentials.
If you voluntarily send diagnostics or other information to support, Inventive Hill will use it to investigate and respond to your request. Never send API keys, authentication tokens, private source code, or credentials to support.
Updates and support
Inventive Hill delivers compatibility, security, maintenance, and feature updates automatically from getvibedeck.com; VibeDeck checks for updates, downloads them silently, and applies them on the next restart. Updates require an active subscription — see Section 13. You are responsible for maintaining supported versions of Stream Deck, your operating system, terminals, and coding agents. Failure to install an available update may affect compatibility or security.
We will make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain advertised functionality and address reproducible defects. Support does not include administration of third-party accounts, recovery of lost credentials or data, or guarantees that a third party will preserve an integration.
Warranties and consumer rights
VibeDeck will be provided in conformity with its applicable description and the mandatory requirements of law. Except for warranties, remedies, and rights that cannot legally be excluded, Inventive Hill makes no additional warranty that VibeDeck or every third-party integration will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every environment, or available indefinitely.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights available to consumers, including mandatory rights relating to digital-content conformity, updates, repair, replacement, price reduction, termination, refunds, or withdrawal where applicable.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inventive Hill will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or data, arising from coding-agent output, terminal commands, approval decisions, third-party services, unavailable integrations, user configuration, or failure to maintain backups.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inventive Hill's aggregate liability arising from VibeDeck will not exceed the amount you paid for VibeDeck. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury, data-protection violations, gross negligence where applicable, or mandatory consumer remedies.
Termination
Your license ends if you materially breach these Terms and do not remedy the breach where a remedy is available. When the license ends, you must stop using and remove VibeDeck, subject to any rights that applicable law requires us to preserve. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.
Subscription, billing, and remote lock
VibeDeck is licensed as a recurring subscription (currently $5 per month plus applicable tax) with a 7-day free trial that requires a valid payment card. Your subscription is sold and billed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record, through Lemon Squeezy's hosted checkout. Lemon Squeezy's terms govern billing, invoicing, tax collection, and payment-method handling. You can view and manage your subscription, including cancellation, at any time from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (My Orders).
You may cancel at any time; access continues through the remainder of the paid period. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.
VibeDeck periodically checks your license against Inventive Hill's licensing service. While your subscription is active, or during a limited offline grace period, VibeDeck's actions function normally. When a subscription lapses, is cancelled, or fails to renew, VibeDeck requires an active subscription and its actions are disabled until the subscription is renewed and revalidated. This remote lock affects only VibeDeck's functionality; it does not delete your local configuration or affect the coding agents, terminals, or other software VibeDeck integrates with.
Changes, applicable law, and disputes
We may update these Terms for future versions of VibeDeck or when necessary to reflect legal, security, billing, or product changes. Material changes will be presented with an updated date and will not retroactively remove rights already acquired under mandatory law.
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to Inventive Hill's supply of VibeDeck, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to bring a claim in a forum other than one available under applicable consumer law.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
