Daily license check
To confirm your subscription is active, VibeDeck contacts api.getvibedeck.com roughly once every 24 hours, plus once on startup. That request sends only your license key and a machine instance id (a random identifier generated for this installation, not tied to any other account). The response tells VibeDeck whether to stay unlocked. If the check fails — no network, or the service is unreachable — VibeDeck keeps working normally for up to 72 hours before locking.
Dictation audio
Push Dictation is opt-in and off by default. When you use it, the recorded audio goes only to the transcription or translation endpoint you configure yourself — your own OpenAI API key, or a local Whisper-compatible server. Inventive Hill does not receive, store, or process this audio. The temporary local recording is deleted after each attempt.
Local data
Settings such as agent configuration, terminal identity, sounds, dictation preferences, and your license key are stored locally by Stream Deck and, for the license, mirrored to a local file so activation survives app updates. VibeDeck has no Inventive Hill account system, and no analytics or advertising SDK is included.
Billing data
Lemon Squeezy processes your subscription payment as merchant of record and handles your payment details, billing address, and tax information directly — Inventive Hill never receives your card number. See Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy for how they handle that data, and our Refund Policy for refund terms.
